"It’s a new world, it’s a new day, it’s a new life for me…"
A new life that is realized in a generalized unsafety, after finishing school, when we are in university and entering the labor market. Modern specialists and activists named this picture “precarity”. We call it “reality”. A reality that touches everyone of us who isn’t lucky enough to be born into a “safe” economic and social environment. Everyone of us who dares to live a “different” life, contrary to the dominant life-styles. Everyone who is forced to leave his/her own country, in order to seek for a better future.

It’s a life of:
* Low quality, privatized and super-specialized education.
* University degrees without any professional rights.
* Part-time, underpaid and insecure jobs.
* Lack of social security and welfare.
* No decent housing and transports.
* Lack of access to new technologies and culture.
* Discriminations according to our ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation.
Half education is half life!

Half education is half life!
All educational reforms and policies happening all around Europe are not independent from each other. They are based on the common, neoliberal strategy of turning education into a useful practical and ideological tool for the market and the dominant system. The aim is to produce a new model of an obedient, super-specialized, half-educated scientists, who can be used as cheap and expendable workforce.
Flexy-nothing!
Flexy-nothing!
Social security and safe working environments are non-existing notions for young people who enter the labor market today. Flexible working spaces, flexible working hours, flexible contracts and salaries can never go together with a secure and stable life. Our parents are “privileged” enough to count the days for their pensions. We know we will never be that “lucky”. The European Union has decided to sentence our future to a constant chase of survival, by introducing “flexicurity” as the new way of deepening the neoliberal strategy.
Cities for all!
Cities for all!
Instead of promoting our personal emancipation, by offering us every possible means for it, local and national authorities do everything to prevent us from enjoying a self-managed, independent life. Our cities are full of empty houses, while renting costs make it impossible to leave your parents’ house. Our streets are filled with immobilized and polluting cars, while public transports are either inexistent or expensive, low-quality and inefficient. Huge amounts of money are spent every year in commercialized, mainstream cultural productions, while independent and innovating artists are thrown out of state funding and support. Meanwhile, new technologies and knowledge remain accessible only to those who have the ability to spend a lot for them.
The whole earth is our home!
The whole earth is our home!
Migrants who end up in European countries are used as cheap and invisible labor force. With neither rights nor social protection, they live a very fragile life, unable to reclaim their basic rights, because of the constant fear of job loss or even deportation. These people who contribute equally to the societies, are deprived of rights, which we consider as basic, like the right to participate in all levels of the decision-making processes.
My body-My choice!
My body-My choice!
The present repressive system forces us to live our lives following a moral pattern of patriarchal and heterosexist behavior, denying the rights to our body and to pleasure. Women are seen as reproductive machines, taken under less consideration than men, economically dependent on them and less paid for offering equal work. At the same time, the dominant hetero-culture marginalizes all the other sexual orientations and does not recognize equal rights to the LGBT communities, as the right of marriage or adoption.
Feel. Think. Act. Move. Shout. Resist. Change…
RECLAIM LIFE –FIGHT PRECARITY!
It’s time to act collectively, in order to start changing this imposed reality.
It’s time we fight for:
* Public, free, high-quality and emancipating education in all levels.
* University degrees which will offer full scientific competence and guaranteed professional rights.
* Secure and well-paid jobs in safe working spaces, with full, guaranteed welfare and trade-unionist rights.
* Collective contracts, less working hours and pensions for all.
* Guaranteed social benefits, low-cost and high-quality housing and transports for all.
* Free access and unconditioned state support to all forms of knowledge, new technologies and culture.
* Citizenship of residence and the right to vote for all migrants.
* Recognition of gender equality in all levels.
* Recognition of all legal rights of the LGBT community.
* Generalized adoption of anti-discrimination policies in all levels.
It’s time to choose life. Not survival!
